-The Stratford Oldtimers Athletic Association is proud to recognize and support the next generation of Stratford student-athletes through our annual scholarship awards.-
These young men and women have demonstrated that being a student-athlete is about more than what happens on the field or court. It takes hard work, commitment, discipline, and dedication—both in athletics and in the classroom.
We congratulate this year’s scholarship recipients and wish them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make Shakesbeer 2026 such a tremendous success!
From the cold beer and great food to the live music, vendors, costumes, friends and plenty of laughs, it was an afternoon to remember along the beautiful Long Island Sound.

🎉The Stratford Oldtimers Athletic Association has been awarded a **$150,000 Legislative Grant!**🎉
With the help of **Ron Mudre of Hilltop Market**, coordinating with **State Representative Joe Gresko**, representing Lordship, the South End, and the West Side of Stratford, this tremendous support for the SOAA became a reality! By the way...Both Ron and State Rep. Joe are SOAA Members!!!

We were honored to welcome Mayor David Chess as our special guest. The Mayor shared his vision for the Town of Stratford and looks forward to working with, and partnering with our organization as we continue supporting athletics and community programs in Stratford.
In addition, we were VERY EXCITED to distribute 4 Award donations to our community. Spooner House, Notre Dame Softball, Stratford Baseball and Stratford Track/Cross Country!!!

Get there early (2PM) for Pre-game Ceremony and then see who's throwing out the "First Pitch!" Kick off Opening Day and the Spring Season by attending a down home game of baseball. The Bunnell High School Bulldogs of Stratford defeated the Lewis Mills Spartans out of Burlington, 45-40 to win the CIAC Division III title!
